| VE DAY BEER FESTIVAL (November 09, 2006) We have been asked to organise a VE Day themed beer festival at the Locomotive Pub in Wellingborough over the 5th/6th of may next year. We have several groups interested in attending so it should be a great weekend. Alongside all the real ales there will be a hog roast, a VE Day "Street party" in the garden with period style food, dried egg sandwiches, corned beef in abundance, parsnip "banana" fritters etc which all sound delightful!!! We have groups representing KOSB, AFS, RAF and hopefully the LOVAT SCOUTS at this stage.
